Friends

I've been thinking about moving lately, obviously. It seems the closer it gets the closer I get to my friends. I'm going to miss them. From the day we moved here I had great friends. Two girls brought me dinner, when they found out I had moved here with a four-day old baby, and told me about a playgroup they had started and instantly I had made wonderful friends. When our family moved out of the University Ward I made even more friends and they have become my serogate family.

Today we went to Bluestem, a campground by Coralville Lake, and all I could think was how much I'm going to miss my friends, my house, and even Iowa itself. I've really loved it here. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have spent the last four years.

Last weekend I went to Chicago with some of my friends and I had so much fun. It was a well deserved break, I must say. What girl wouldn't love a weekend of shopping, makeup, late-night girl talk, Wicked, Cheesecake Factory, birthday celebrations, and even a trip to the temple?

We stayed at the Drake Hotel

We spent a LOT of time getting our makeup done and went to a Mac makeup class

I took my first Taxi Ride

We did a little haircut in the bathtub
We were just a "little" silly!!
And just for fun here's a picture from St. Patty's Day. We had a green party at the church. (just pretend the picture says 2008 - oops!)

Kendra, That is SO awsome!!! I would KILL for some girl time right about now. I keep telling Jeromy that all I need is one girlfriend that I can talk to and walk with and my life would improve sooo much. I have relized how important it is to have another girl to talk to, a husband will always be number one, and important, but I think girls need another girl to talk to, just keep from going crazy. I really think that the #1 reason why I can't waite to move is because I honestly have NO friends here, not even in my ward(their all 50 or over)I'm so glad you have a large network of friends, 4 years would have been very difficult with out them.

We had so much fun Kendra. I actually ordered your cute dress and it just came to my door a couple days ago. Moving is so hard. I'm still adjusting. Just be glad to have experienced the opportunity to have these relationships in this way. It's hard to find them later. You're awesome and you will be missed just as much as you miss everyone. You'll do great wherever you go.

i'm in denial... you're NOT going.

I love these pictures. Such FUN memories!!!!

I'll stop now, so I don't get too emotional and sad. I HATE that friends have to move away!

This trip was so much fun! You have inspired me to FINALLY do a post on Chicago too. I'm so far behind...
And I'm in MAJOR denial over moving. I am going to miss you like crazy and I just can't believe everything is changing in a little over a month. Crazy, isn't it?
