We went to funny little pumpkin patch last week with some friends. It was great company. I couldn't help but feel like we were missing something when we noticed that the "patch" was a bunch of boxes full of pumpkins to choose from (much like the boxes of pumpkins in front of Walmart). We felt a little nostalgic for Iowa and the Solan pumpkin patch and Wilson's pumpkin patch where you can actually pluck your pumpkin from a vine. To make up for our nostalga we went to dinner at Culvers, our favorite Iowa hamburger place, and got Austin his first ever ice cream with crunch bar topping. It was on e of those perfect afternoons.
Practicing for those first steps - we're waiting patienly; he's getting close

SO cute! We haven't been to a pumpkin patch yet....and we may just be too late...it's cold here already! UGH!
Oh babies, oh boys, oh boy o' boy I can't handle this! I want to munch on my cuties. And no, I tried to freeze you, but you kept getting warmer.
It was a fun day! Too bad we missed Austin's first ice cream experience. Did he love it?!
I love afternoons like that! I admit that I have been nostalgic for Iowa lately, too. I never thought I would say that.
I love the picture of your boys together- I hope you frame that.
They have a Culver's in Colorado Springs? How nice to have something to remind you of Iowa. At least you got to go to your ghetto pumpkin patch. We didn't even get to go to one! It's WAY too cold here. I don't even think they have one.
Oh, and CUTEST picture ever of your kids all together. I LOVE it!!
I'm with you, I'm always saying that I want to freeze time. I wish that my kids could stay little forever, soo scrumptious. Cute kids, I'm glad that everything is going well for you and your family.
