**Face Book**

I've been against facebook. Gotta draw the line somewhere and I have too much to do already so I drew it there. But I got sucked in. It seems that anyone who's anyone is "ON" facebook. I missed my high school reunion and got an email about our school's face book page. It was the last straw. "What the heck?" I thought, why not do it? Catch up with people I used to know and the one's I still do.

So I did it, I gave in. And I still DO NOT GET IT!! Am I too uncool? Are the 25 mile an hour speed limits {seriously - even the main street through town is 25 mph} here in Mountain Home turning me into a grandma that just doesn't get the "new fangled technology"? What's a "wall"? and did I add friends? I know people added me but do I need to add them? And do people just talk about random stuff? Am I just a really big dweeb stuck in my own little world; too big a dweeb to understand? I know I must be missing something. What is it?

It will all come given just a little bit of time! I totally didn't get it at first either. When I saw you joined, I said, "Ha ha! Facebook got her in the end!!!" Good luck! The slow driving, unfortunately, will definitely turn you into grandma driver for life!

It took some time for me too. Basically it's a mini blog...an area for you to post status updates, and see what everyone else is doing too, all in one place.
Good luck!! You'll get it.

I hear ya. I get on facebook about twice a week, but I am not really into it. It seems a little silly to me, but it is really fun to connect with old friends.
Hey, when do you find out the gender of your baby? I am dying here!

Facebook is totally silly and mundane and trivial -- that's why it is so much fun! Well, if you're a recluse like me and internet friends are pretty much your only friends... :)

You are not alone. I don't get it either...and frankly it seems quite silly. Who cares what you ate for breakfast, or that you just went to the gym! Maybe that is why it is so addicting. Also it seems everyone is giving up on blogging and turning to FB! What the heck!

I have 2 comments. If driving slow is a grandma thing, then someone forgot to tell me. I mean where did those speeding tickets come from? Was that me? Oh, 35 in a 25. Umm, Officer, officer? I'm a grandma okay?

All I know how to do is put confirm when someone sends me a request to be a friend.
Not a facebook fan, but I'll still just hit confirm...
